Our students have won numerous awards in many famous professional competitions, such as Social Comprehensive Practice Research Competition organized by National Steering Committee of Urban and Rural Planning Education in China, Social Comprehensive Practice Research Competition organized by National Steering Committee of Architecture Education in China, SEU-Chinese Contest of Rookies Award for Architecture Students, Yuan Ye Award International Competition for College Student, South China Historical Trail Cultural Creativity Competition, and so on.

In recent years, our students have won many awards in high-level competitions, including Challenge Cup National College Students’ Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Contest, China College Students’ Entrepreneurship Competition, and China College Students’ ‘Internet Plus’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. Our students have won national first prize for one time, national second prize/silver award for two times, and provincial grand prize/gold award for four times. The investigation report “Investigating the value and remodeling of Lingnan village dwellings from the perspective of cultural renaissance: A case study of Chaoshan traditional villages” won the national first prize in the 2019 Challenge Cup National College Students’ Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Contest, which was the best performance of our university that year.
