There are over eighty teaching and administrative staff in the college, among of which, fifty-eight are full-time teachers, two are teaching staff , nine are administrative staff. There are seventeen teaching staff in design institute. Among the full-time teachers, there are eight professors , eleven associate professors , nineteen master tutors, and the ratio of professional teachers and students is 1:12. The college adopts the policy of combining the internationalization with the localization in the past five years. It introduces one teacher with a background in studying abroad and twelve young teachers for the "national projects of ‘introduction of one hundred talents’ ". The proportion of teachers with doctorate degrees among all the teaching staff is 60.3 per cent. Most teachers have experience studying abroad.There are a total of twelve professional teachers who have been sent to the University of Birmingham in UK, University of California, Berkeley,and Los Angeles for one-year study visit in the past three years.
